These terms cover your use of Effortlessly Organised. By creating an account or using Effortlessly Organised, you agree to these Terms of Use.

What the service does

You forward, upload or paste things - school newsletters, bills, appointment confirmations, and so on - and we use AI to organise them into events, action items, news items and supplier records for your family. We may occasionally carry out maintenance or updates that temporarily affect availability.

Who can use this

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, and you're responsible for anyone you choose to invite to your family.

Free and paid plans

The free plan includes a monthly allowance of confirmed events. The paid "Organised" plan (currently £2.99/month) removes that limit. You can cancel a paid plan at any time; your subscription continues until the end of the billing period you've already paid for. We may change subscription pricing in the future - if we do, we'll let existing subscribers know in advance before any change takes effect.

AI-generated content

We use AI to extract events, dates, amounts and other information from the content you send us. You'll always have the opportunity to review information before confirming it, but mistakes are possible. Always check important details against the original document.

Acceptable use

Effortlessly Organised is for organising information relating to you and your family. Please don't use it to send us anything illegal, abusive, or that you don't have the right to share. You remain responsible for the content you upload.

Your content

You retain ownership of anything you upload. You give us permission to process it only as needed to provide Effortlessly Organised to you, keep the service secure, and improve the features we offer. We don't use your family's content to train public AI models, and we won't sell it to third parties.

Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from within the app. When you do, we'll delete your personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy. We may suspend or close accounts that violate these terms.

Liability

We provide Effortlessly Organised on an "as is" basis. While we aim to keep the service reliable and accurate, we can't guarantee that it will always be available or error-free. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we aren't responsible for losses resulting from incorrect AI-generated information, service interruptions, or your reliance on information that hasn't been checked against the original document.

Developing the service

We may add, change or remove features from time to time as we continue to develop the service.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. If we make significant changes, we'll let you know through the app or by email.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Any disputes will be dealt with by the Scottish courts, unless consumer protection law gives you the right to bring a claim elsewhere.
